The Fox and the Hunt

Gwen knew John Hart's type. He was a bitch. Probably made Jack's life hell when they were together. She saw the way he looked at Jack, predatory, manipulative. For all the cock and bull story about the murdered woman, Gwen knew why John had come to Cardiff.

He wanted Jack back.

He wasn't going to get him, not over her dead body, he wasn't. Jack still felt the attraction, she could see that, but knew better than to act on it. Jack had come back for them - all of them.

Jack belonged to Torchwood, and they were keeping him.
