Webley

The factories of Villangard never made Webleys.

It was never fifty-first century army issue.

I got mine in the Great War, 1914. Saved my life often, then killed me, too, when the enemy took it.

I recovered. I got it back; part of my new life. I used it in South Africa, India... China.

Over the years, I've made modifications. Added some alien tech, embellishments. It shoots like a dream. Memories of the veldt, and the aroma of curry.

Like me: it belongs to no time, with characteristics of many eras. My gun; a gun of my own vintage.
