Dedication
Magneto knew that nothing good lasts forever. This idyll would end; he would have to leave Charles' mansion.
He made the best of his resources. He honed his precision; his strength. He traced the intricacies of the magnetic field like a shark scenting prey. He began to believe that, with help from Charles, he could do anything. Killing Shaw was only the first step.
He trained from dawn to dusk. Concentrating, he did not notice Charles until Charles put a warm hand on his shoulder.
"Eric, my friend," he said, "Stop now. You work too hard. Come relax with me."
