Fidelity

Gwen slept like an innocent babe, but Rhys couldn't sleep.

He'd shaken off the drug she'd given him, and remembered her words vividly. She'd cheated on him, like in a cheap western song. She'd been with someone named Owen. Not Captain Jack Harkness, as Rhys had imagined. Some other man.

Would he ever be able to trust her again?

Did it matter? All that made her Gwen, all that made him love her, was still the same. She loved him. She meant to stay. He could forgive.

But something had to change.

This decided him.

It was time for marriage.
