Irreplaceable

There was an empty place in the Hub, where once something important had been.

While he was away, Gwen had done a magnificent job refurbishing the place - something Jack should have done long ago, he realized belatedly. She had carefully saved all his memorabilia of the Doctor: the 3D glasses, the old televisions, and even, in his tin box, the faded photograph of the Doctor and the Titanic.

It wasn't Gwen Cooper's fault that the Hand was gone, living its own life in another universe with Rose. (Beautiful Rose!)
