Sundering Time

Bilis's plan was good. He discovered the Rift when the Gallifreyan vessel - an anomaly if ever there was one - led him there. He found the Time Traveller underneath Cardiff, capable of interference. Bilis had never imagined how much.

It went well: waylaying Harkness in 1941, tricking the policewoman by stabbing her boyfriend, matching Dr. Harper with the aviator. Throwing beasts from the past their direction - who'd have guessed they'd tame the pterodactyl like a pet?

Ultimately Harkness was stronger than Abaddon himself, who perished. The man lived. Impossible!

Bilis, like Harkness, could wait forever. Next time, his plans would work.
